Pre-China

As I sit here at the gate waiting to board I sit and for the first time ponder, why am I going to china? I really have not given much thought to this trip I am about to embark on. I am not really coming up with any clear cut reason in my mind as to why I am headed to china. All I can do is march forward and see what fate has instore for me.

It is times like these I truly to appreciate the spontaneity that brings me to the not too rational yet still immensely enjoyable. Well I must tell myself that it will be enjoyable and judging by what I have heard from friends who have mad the same journey in the past, I will have a great time.

I sure do thirst for a drink, it’s a good thing I am flying with one of my best friends, we arranged to sit right next to each other after we met at the airport, and he didn’t mind sitting in between two people, and not getting a window or aisle. he is one of my friends who I really do value our relationship, he is someone I can look up to and confide in, a true friend. It is a pity he will only be able to come on the first three or four days of the trip, but I’ll settle, its better then no one at all; and to all my friends and family who are wondering who this friend is, you all should know him, or even met him he goes by Jack D.
